Archery state championship

Hi y'all!

I got to travel to Waco Texas to the state Archery championship. We stayed at a hotel and trinity had to shoot 12 rounds each day for 2 days. It took a long time. Trinity came in 4th for shooter of the year and 4th for state champion. Her best fried Eddie came in 3rd! Everyone is so proud of them.

At the hotel they gave us Texas shaped waffles. They were yummy! After Trinity was done shooting before we traveled back to their house we stopped and learned some history.

We visited the Waco Suspension Bridge. It was built in 1968. Wagons, pedestrians (people walking) and cattle herds used the bridge daily. It was the first bridge to cross the Brazos River. At that time it was the longest single span suspension bridge in the world!! It is 475ft long.

It was a super fun weekend. Check out the pictures!
