My first Rock Concert!!!!

,Guys I am so excited! Mr Paul found out about a concert that was free in a town called Bells, Texas.  The band playing was called Newsboys. Have you heard of them? They are really good! Bells was about 2 hours away so we packed a picnic, the camera, the kids, and headed there.

It was the best!

The kids loved it! They were dancing and having a great time. We all were. We spread out our blanket really close to the stage and had an amazing time. It was Sarie, AJ, Noah and Micah's first concert ever. The other girls had been going since they were babies.

Guess what! The drummer and his drum set turned upside down and spun all around! It was so cool!!

It was really late when we made the drive back and we all slept on the way home. It was 2am before we got home and into our beds.

Check out the pictures Miss Ashlee took of our great night!

Bye for now!

After the book fair we headed home, but first Miss Ashlee treated us gals to a late lunch at In and Out Burger.

It's a pretty cool burger place that serves burgers, fries and milkshakes. It was YUM E!

It is nice having a mom and kids day out.

They had 3d books there for 50 cents! All kinds of books for 50 cents. We all had such a blast and all the kids in the family got a bunch of books.

Special play date

Hi y'all!

This weekend I got to go to the Botanical Gardens in Fort Worth. It was sunny and warm. I was invited on a very special play date. The kids at the play date all had Down syndrome. They brought their families and we had a picnic and played together. It was so much fun!

We had fried chicken, fruit, cookies and chips. It was so yummy! When we were done eating we played in a wagon, jumped roped, ran around playing tag, played catch and looked for fish and turtles. We saw big turtles and little turtles. We even saw a man and woman getting married. It was the best fun!

I learned that kids with Down syndrome are just like me. They like some of the same foods I do like hot dogs, cookies, chicken and fruit. The kids like to play in water and play ball and run around.  It was no different than playing with kids from class back in Florida. I can't wait to play with them again! We made plans to have more play dates. I am so lucky they invited me.

After we said goodbye the family and I went to McDonald's for ice cream!

It was a great day!
